Just so anyone isn't confused, those four kids are the M.E.T.A.4 and no, I won't explain what the acronym means, but it suffices as a label for a ragtag group of kids who have nothing in common except for one thing (won't say what's that either). Starting from the left, you have Gusto, your lovable glove-wearing lizard; Mond, Gusto's rival and misunderstood bully raptor; Franne, shy cat and talented artist; and Cilicia, hyperactive, friendly chick with a crush on Gusto. Oh, and the half-buried pirate bat is Cappi Saar Tain, Cap for short.
